Dark and modern, this labradorite pendant pairs a simple, geometric setting with a stone of restless, shifting colour. The cabochon, in a cool, deep grey, hides blue flashes that appear suddenly as the angle shifts and vanish just as quickly back into the depths of the stone. This effect is known as labradorescence - in old craft tradition, such a glow was linked to clarity of mind, inspiration and self-belief. Hung centrally, the pendant settles naturally at the base of the neckline and draws attention there.

For this piece we chose a stone with an exceptionally pure, saturated colour - that, together with the clarity of the labradorite, decided the choice of this particular specimen. Good labradorites get more expensive year after year, as nature itself limits their availability, yet the price of this pendant remains reasonable. It is set in pure, refined sterling silver 925, further coated with a layer of rhodium that protects the surface from tarnishing and keeps its shine for years to come. The alloy is free of nickel and other harmful additives, so it does not irritate the skin. The silver is stamped with the French maker's mark, attesting its origin.
