The labradorite cabochon on this pendant shimmers with a blue, sometimes steely flash that emerges on the stone's dark surface only when you turn it in your hand or the light shifts. Good labradorites are rising in price along with silver and are becoming harder to find, so buying at this price makes sense today. The pendant is made of refined 925 silver of European quality, additionally rhodium-plated - the rhodium layer protects the surface against tarnishing and scratches, keeping the metal's shine bright for years to come. The alloy contains no nickel or other metals known to cause allergic reactions, so the pendant can be worn without worrying about skin irritation. The metal is stamped with the French maker's mark - a legally protected mark registered with the French assay office, which attests to its origin.
